The Goldleaf Material Guaranty FundSM
The
Goldleaf Material Guaranty FundSM provides added
certainty to surety companies, owners and prime contractors on a
given project, together with the subcontractors and suppliers of
the contractors qualifying for a Goldleaf Material GuarantySM.
Goldleaf Material GuarantiesSM essentially
represent operating capital that Goldleaf Financial advances to
secure a contractor's payment performance on a given project. When
a contractor qualifies for a Goldleaf Material Guaranty SM,
Goldleaf Financial advances cash directly into a fund control account
maintained and managed for the contractor on the particular project.
These advances only may be used for the purchase of materials and
subcontracted labor on that particular project.
By utilizing guarantied funds and managing all payments through
a fund control company, Goldleaf Financial helps mitigate any threat
of mechanic's or materialman's liens being filed against the project
or claims being made against the surety bond. Each payment requires
the payee's return of a mechanic's lien waiver, and no further payments
will issue to a supplier or subcontractor until the prior lien waiver
has been returned. In addition, the contractor benefits from the
Goldleaf Material GuarantySM operating capital
advances which allows them to take advantage of suppliers early
pay discounts. These operating capital advances also benefit the
contractor as invoices are paid within 10-15 days of when they are
received which improves the contractor's credit.
Goldleaf Material GuarantiesSM are available
to reliable contractors in any amount, up to the full cost of all
materials and subcontracted labor needed for a specific project.
Keep in mind that Goldleaf Material GuarantiesSM are
advanced directly to the fund control company controlling the contractor's
draws and payments on the project, and that they only can be used
for the limited purpose of purchasing the supplies and/or subcontracted
labor specified for a particular project.
